A gap is beginning to open. We're now 9 points ahead of Rovers in 9th.

Leeds, Charlton and Huddersfield are tough games coming up before the end of February.

I'm going to the Charlton game. Can't wait!!

How many penalties has he scored?

Seriously though, **IF** he doesn't sign the contract you can't blow the wage structure. For any player. Even McGovern.

edit: Mwhahaha, perfect night. Reading slip into bottom 3 too.

Danny Wilson: "We might have a few new acquisitions before the Leeds game"

A few, not one, not a couple but a few.

In an idle moment, I did a quick 'back of the envelope' calculation to work out what we would need to do to secure promotion.  The answer is approx 2.4 points/game for automatic promotion and 1.6 points/game for a play off place.

Realistically, automatic promotion is out of reach, where as the play offs are looking definitely possible.  This is exciting.  I would expect our crowds to start rising soon.

We have probably got other players that can take penalties. More worried about getting McGovern signed on.

Never seen Charlie miss a pen. Can't believe he didn't score, is he feeling ok?
3 points in the bag and up a place, good stuff

Just wondering if this might not be a bad time to play Leeds - lost to Exeter at the weekend, lost to Carlisle tonight. Or maybe we'll just get the backlash?

He had the ball in the net, but it was ruled out for offside.
