Over the last 5 seasons the average points for 2nd and 6th are 85 and 74 respectively.

So 30 points or 10 wins from our last 22 games could be enough for the play offs.

We've got 25 points from our last 10 games.

Thats a fucking good result for us tonight.

I dont give a fuck about the performance - SC had nearly half a new team on display, and by the sounds of it deserved at least a point if not the win - but we walked away with the points, which is all that matters.

Yeah, the pitch was poor. So what, so was our passing.

Lescinel can do one thing and one thing only - tackle. The best thing he did was miraculously win a freekick by trying to head the ball whilst doing a back-flip.

That albino Perkins fella was allowed to win way to much, for a not-so-big lad we should've stopped him winning headers.

Their disallowed goal was probably onside, well i thought so.

We were crap end of, we play like that against leeds we're going to made to look like idiots.

The thing is though we won't play like that against Leeds. Every team has poor performances and every team will drop points, just like we did at brizzle rovers. To play poorly yet still get a win is unusual for Town, we usually just get beat if we're below par.

Great result. The players will be up for Leeds next week, although I think it'll be a huge task as Leeds will be coming into the game on the back of 4 games without a win.

Great win at a shit ground. Thought we looked tired throughout the game.
Douglas, I thought was a yard behind the pace.
JFL has other things on his mind, his passing was awful but stuck the foot in when needed.
GG and SC were outstanding as well as Lucas. His initial save for the Stockport offside goal was unbelievable!!
Big Kev won the pen fantastically after a great diagonal ball from Greer to JPM, who reversed passed it to Kev. Billy smashed it home perfectly.

DW tactics were spot on I thought. We couldn't pass and exploit the wings, so it was long ball to Billy who did what he had to do. Austin, I think needs a bit more muscle. Swailes had him in his pocket for most of the game.

To my surprise DW made no substitutions. Thinking of it, I wouldn't of either as we scored at a vital stage of the game and to put someone on I think would of dropped us two points.

Think the boys were knackered on that heavy pitch but we have a week to prepare for Leeds. They have 3 days. Let's hope Spurs stuff them and injure a couple at the same time. Let's keep this going!!

COME ON YOU REDS!!

The next few games are crucial. Think out of the next 5 games we play 3 that are 'around' us?

I think we'll lose to Leeds, beat Charlton and draw to 'uddersfield.

Poor match.

Scrappy from start to finish.

The new signings for them looked good, especially Perkins.

They could of scored but Lucas made a great finger tip save to claw the ball out in the second half before the rebound was ruled out for offside.

Austin looked off the pace and tired, as did the whole squad.

It was going to be one of those days (nights).

It did look a pen but we were right at the other end behind a giant post so i saw him start his run and then go down and nothing inbetween!

Other than that the Stockport keeper had nothing to do.

MOM - Paynter and Amankywanywha shared this for me.

JP had an off day, he was woeful poor sod as he was really trying hard throughout.

Mr 50p boots: Jean Francois was consistant, winning great tackles giving away easy passes and then hitting something sublime a few minutes later...soooo frustrating.

Greer got away with fouling the forward for most of the match, the ref indeed gave us everything as they got more physical chasing the game.

Pitch was ok IMO..it wasnt the best but they hard worked hard to roll it flat and make it firm.

Ugly win and winning without playing well and all that....

Roll on Leeds...but... if we play like that then we WILL be dicked..no question!

But we won't play like that, we have a week to rest and preapre, they haven't won since they beat Manure and they have Spurs at the weekend.

Loads of positives for me

We'll be well up for Leeds, and be surprised if we didn't up our game. My main concern for that is Douglas might be too up for it!

3pts, doesn't matter how you win or by what score, we've had enough bad luck stories in the last five seasons - keep the momentum going Town.

I'm more confident now, about points against leads than I was when we were first due to play them. Full (ish) ground under lights our players will be well up for it.

When the Leeds game was postponed I was annoyed and thought it worked in their favour because I felt our form was good at the time. But now our form is better.  Cheesy

Meh we always do our best to give Leeds 3 points. Typical that they're suffering a bit of a blip at the moment, giving us hope like that (SWINES).
