You will not be disappointed.

I forgot to mention the garlic, and the mushrooms. How could I forget the mushrooms.

Oyster sauce is an incredible ingredient.

Although it can be variable depending on which brand you buy. I found a bottle of some weird stuff in a shop in Broad Street years ago that went into a beef and broccoli stir fry that I have never matched since. I think it was called 'Kum Kwee Kwok' or similar.

If you can buy it in Thailand BK, ship me a case please.

I'd imagine you could use just about anything, it's all about the basil. Just start frying some up and you'll see (or smell) what I mean (It has to be the right basil though, the Thai stuff).

I cooked a chicken stir fry minus the oyster sauce the other day. It wasn't the same.

In keeping with the oyster sauce theme.

Today, I shall opt for: Chicken, fried in oyster sauce with garlic, spring onion and cashew nuts. I have yet to decide whether or not I want mushrooms.

Since moving to China I think I have eaten Oyster sauce maybe once or twice.  In fact I think I eat less Chinese food now than I did in the UK.

Chinese food is generally awful, nothing like you get at the chinky back in the UK.

Do you seriously mean to say that the prawn cracker is not a dietary staple in China?
