That was proper cold out there but well worth it. I cant really knock any of the team as we played very well. Yeovil looked quite threatening at the start of the game but we took control and always looked like we would win.

I saw my first Charlie Austin goal too, happy days.

Not sure anyone has picked up on this yet, but we are now only 12 points from safety.

Fully enjoyed that. Got to say we were a threat every time we went forward, and with a bit better finishing we could've scored 6 or 7 easily. They were defensively shite.

Their no.9 Williams is a cock and should've been sent off for a moaning whinger. From the first minute he was late challenging our back 4, and he elbowed Sheehan in the first 5 minutes which the oficials failed to spot. He got booked for dissent and 10 minues later should've gone also for dissent, but the ref gave him a final warning, and was promptly subbed.

Paynter ful eserved MoM, and Charlie...7 in 7. It's a pity he's cup tied for Saturday.

Thoroughly enjoyable game. In truth Yeovil were unlucky not to score in the first 15 minutes but some superb goal line clearances denied them.

But after that we too control. A pin point cross from JP lead to Paynter's headed goal, then a smart layoff from Ferry inside the box lead to Austin's smart finish. Yeovil's goal was a fluke, the cross went in.

But for a couple of well saved long shots Yeovil weren't in it and we cruised to a victory-and should have scored more.

I would like to say Ward must never play for Swindon again. The cheek of scoring in under a minute of the second half meant I missed the f**king goal thanks to being stuck in the slow serving food queue because my son wanted a drink!

Anyway an enjoyable, well deserved and straight forward 3 points.

Thought first half was a bit dodgy, don't forget they had two off the line.

Second half was a breeze though

Really enjoyed that, can't add much more that hasn't been said before, apart from the fact that their full back, #26 or #28, can't remember was bloody dreadful.

First 20 mins worried me as Yeovil punted it forward and we struggled a bit to clear our lines.  As soon as we got it down on the ground, we played ok.  That was one hell of a ball from JP who was my MOTM although there were a few candidates today.  Greer had a bit of a shakey first half.

Second half I thought we were excellent, some great football and passing movement and really deserved to score more than 3.

Thought Ward looked very promising and put more effort in today than Hutchinson has for the duration of his time here.  Would like to see him and Paynter start v Fulham.

I felt O'Brien although not bad going forward, offers us nothing defensively and seemed scared to put in challenges, as if he was worried about getting injured and Ward when he came on got stuck in far more.

Paynter and Austin both had good games too.

Very pleased with today and really hoping we see more of those performances.

bit gutted for OB - he was really starting to look the part as well.

Ward did a very good job on the left despite that not being his natural position, very composed on the ball.

Thought we carried on our recent trend in games by starting very slowly and backing off the opposition. That allowed them to play a bit and they had a few chances to take the lead. Once we got going (much the same against Orient and Brighton) we looked far more dangerous and the most likely to win the game. The first goal came from a few neat passes and then some real quality from JPM with the cross. Good header by Billy who I thought was excellent today. the 2nd goal was poor defending from Yeovil but great play by Billy who somehow kept the ball in then went on to a run into the box before a neat passing move saw Austin get another goal. Yay!

Their goal was a total fluke. Bloke went to cross it and it went in ala Ronaldinho 2002. That was the only alarm. From then on plain sailing. Great finish from Ward. He looked 10 times better than Hutchinson. Yet another win. It's almost becoming too good to be true. 6 wins from the last 8 and flying. Let's get Saturday's party out of the way and then focus on having a real push for the top 6.
