If there's 2 adults out there who would like to join me at the station and buy a group saver to paddington I'd be much obliged.  Return that is.

I've heard that there may be a queueing system in operation at Swindon station in the morning (i.e. holding people in groups 'kettle style'), and again on return at Paddington.

One thing I do know for sure is that the bridge to Swindon station from the North Star side is closed on 2nd Jan so don't try to use it as a short cut when you've only got 2 mins to catch the train.

Yeah because although on the website you select a time, my tickets don't actually specify a time!

Could be quite some carnage!

You can get a group saver for three if you need to Rich. Slightly more expensive but not much.

Group savers come in chunks of three or four. I got 11 of us on 2 x 4 plus 1 x 3 for £22 a head excluding underground (couldn't afford the extra cash outlay). The only restriction is that you all have to travel together. Like that is a problem  Grin

Bushey did better though - fook me that's a good deal including the toob.
