Garibaldi surely. Hobnobs are too itchy.

But that's part of the test!

Have the Transport Police made the Swindon - Paddington line 'dry' for Saturday? That is usual when such numbers are expected to travel to football games.

I will smuggle my mini bottle of Champagne on there so if you hear a 'POP'; that will be me.

Might be useful if you are driving, but the areas around the ground are on Google Earth, the walkabout thing. You can see the street signs to see if it is metered parking or residents only. I've picked a street and hope that it's empty when I get there!

Happy New Year to you all! I'm going on Saturday, but unfortunately will be sitting with the Fulham fans, as I'll be with a bloke I worked with at QPR, who is a Fulham fan. If you are driving, the parking around Craven Cottage is a nightmare, and, I'm told, is residents only on matchdays (I might be wrong). I would suggest parking in Hammersmith, as there are a couple of large NCP's, and walking along Fulham Palace Road to the ground (about 15-20 minutes). There are a couple of decent pubs on the way as well. Anyway, good luck on Saturday, however you all get there, and fingers crossed for promotion as well.

Should be ok from oxford thankfully! The way back will require beerage before boarding the party train (wishful thinking me....thinks!) home!  Crying

Or could stop off at Reading....but they may be celebrating a famous win!

I dont know you, but you wont be the only town fans having to endure travelling through the shit hole known as oxford

On the 9.30 train from Ox so will probably be in the smoke at 10.30ish.

Costing me £7.60 for the train! Promotion on at the moment on single tickets booked in advance.

I've heard that there may be a queueing system in operation at Swindon station in the morning (i.e. holding people in groups 'kettle style'), and again on return at Paddington.

Anyone heard anything more about this? Don't want to roll up at the station tomorrow only to be held back and miss the train.
