If only I were traveling by plane, they might heed your advice.

I have left my car at the car park at the top of the road tonight. The Fosse Way may well be a right bastard in the morning. Warwick here I come. Or not. Not looking forward to it. Nope not going. After the snow last night GWR is reporting that the roads around Swindon are pretty bad. Two accidents on the westbound M4 as the outside lane is a sheet of ice. Same on Great Western Way, Highworth Road, Common Platt round the corner from me. Looking at the sky outside I reckon there's more on the way. Back to bed for an hour I reckon then start work at 9am in the armchair

No snow at all down here but the roads are like an ice rink, most public services are cancelled, no busses till at least 11.
I hate ice, went out to start the car and its -5 degrees out there and my hand brake had frozen on.
Hateful weather.
