I don't know why they were one of the favourites, as they've been crap for a few years, and most of their finance has gone towards their new ground at Falmer. The bookies also had Tranmere as one of the favourites also, after appointing Barnes, and we all know what happened with that... |

It never ceases to amaze me how fucking stupid club chairmen can be.
Ferguson gets them two successive promotions, he gets a new four year contract in the summer and then they sack him when they struggle in The Championship (something which isn't that surprising) despite them only being a couple of wins away from getting out of the drop zone.
Same crazy shit at Middlesborough. They let Southgate rebuild the team in the summer and then as they're "only" 3rd in The Championship they sack him. Since they did, they've got only 1 point from 3 games.
Solely on the basis that their chairmen are cunts I hope Peterborough are relegated and Middlesborough miss out on promotion. Twats, the lot of them.

The curse of the new contract strikes again. It's amazing how many times a manager is given a new contract is then sacked within a year. MacAnthony wants success, but they still struggle to get gates of 10k. |
