i had the same problem a while ago. deleted cookies, downloaded java, enabled java etc etc nothing worked, nobody can help. the only way around it is to do a system restore back to a point when you were able to use iplayer etc.

I'll say it again, Java and JavaScript are two totally different things. If you're having problems with JavaScript, sticking your finger up your arse will be as much use in resolving them as installing Java will.

What do you have to do?

1.
 Click Start.
 
2.
 All Programs.
 
3.
 Accessories.
 
4.
 System Tools.
 
5.
 System Restore.
 
6.
 Follow the instructions on the wizard.
