Hello.

I tried listening to the England match through the BBC website, and it tells me to enable javascript. I've just downloaded the latest version and its still not working. I also can't watch stuff on the iplayer.

Can someone with too much time on their hands explain to me what is wrong and how i can fix it please.

Thanks xx

Yeah, you need to reboot the PC/laptop to complete the Java install.

Rebooted since you installed Java?

Java and JavaScript are two totally different things and have absolutely nothing at all to do with each other, except for a slightly similar syntax.

i had the same problem a while ago. deleted cookies, downloaded java, enabled java etc etc nothing worked, nobody can help. the only way around it is to do a system restore back to a point when you were able to use iplayer etc.

No, its not right. You've downloaded and installed Java which isn't what the message was about. JavaScript is built in to all modern browsers. If you're having a problem you've either got an old browser that isn't supported or the settings within your browser are wrong.
