A lot of clubs that think they're "massive" have rubbish figures on that list... Always worth reminding the likes of Villa, just 5 years after winning the European Cup that many of their fans ditched them.

Spot on. Adrian Biro won a pen in the second half with an inkingly bad dive.

That was one of my favourite trips ever with Town. Barny got 2 I think. Lucky to get out alive - Mboro was a fucking dangerous place to go those days particularly on a minibus. Due to a crash in the minibus we got home about 2pm on the Sunday.

I went to that also, must have got lucky we were back in newbury by 9.30. I can remember another time there when smoke was drifting over the away stand and the tannoy said, "would the owners of reg plates etc etc, go to your cars they are on fire!)

Reading 5,755 surely that was a above average gate in those days for the plastic side. I'm sure all of their current supporters were there, well at least watching teletext.

As we all know, 12000 of their current regulars were going back then.

They're down to 15,000ish attendances, down approx 10,000ish from the Premier League. They'll be back to the 5000 hardcore again soon enough Smiley

...and there isn't an in-house Reading fan on here to tell me otherwise!

Probably was Dell but remember it was in the second tier and away fans probably swelled it up abit.
