I agree, from what i've seen he's been quite lively and has a lot of pace, which we lack up front. Some of his through balls and passing have been excellent also.

Don't know how you arrived at that conclusion, hes usually robbed of possession before he can decide what to do with the ball!

It was widely touted that he'd be part of the England squad but that has fallen through. Is it maybe because he hasn't met expectations whilst playing for us ? Perhaps he is one for the future, and despite an improved performance against Yeovil, is he any use to us, especially just for an extra month. I would have preferred Hutch & Revell to have had at least a run out with the reserves in mid-week to achieve match fitness, otherwise we could be lacking again in 4 weeks time.

Meh, I don't really rate him but I'm not unhappy he's here longer either. Hope he can get a few more goals to answer his critics.

I'd love it if he could prove everyone wrong.

It's something of a Catch 22 situation. If he does answer his critics and scores goals, he'll almost certainly be off back to 'desperate' Bolton in October. If he under-performs for us, we get to extend the loan even further. Terrific.

Well, it depends if anything comes of this Charles Austin chap doesn't it?
Most of the time, a month isn't enough for a young player to make a significant impact.

With regard to Toby Oddbody, he's already had a month, and only another month remains. I hope Charlie Austin makes it, yet I wonder why he hasn't been snapped up by anyone else at this stage of proceedings. After all, (and I stand to be corrected) didnt Kuklowski and Razak also score on their trial debuts ? I suppose time will tell.

If he can find a final ball he would be a really handy player at this level. He has got a good attitude he tracks back, helps the team, shows a lot of effort and seems committed to the cause. He has a goal under his belt now and we might see a bit more from him, he certainly doesn't lack confidence which is a good base for any player. We have also had a lot worse grace the county ground turf recently.

I think he adds another dimension of flair to our squad. We have hard working solid players like Douglas and McGovern who both build up our play better than I've seen for years. I just think obadeyi provides some flair along with Revell now that might help us win matches by bigger margins than our sneaky 1-0's. Our GD isn't fantastic compared to the teams around us, so more goals is a must.

i can't believe he's actually scored twice for us, it's incredible. he's utter dogshite. the amount of times he is caught in posession is incredible for a professional player. he seems to take an absolute age to decide what to do on the ball in even the easiest of circumstances. lucky he had about 15 seconds to slot the ball home yesterday really.

The jury's still out for me. He's undoubtedly got talent, but he's a greedy cunt who needs to learn how to pass.
