Yesterday, he had a solid chance, composed himself and put it away well. McGovern had a similar chance and missed.

At this level, if you can take the chances, you make the team. He's got a lot of things he needs to develop, but I rated him above Hutchison yesterday.

i think one incident yesterday summed him up - received a pass when in space and stopped completely thinking he was offside despite clearly being onside. he lacks a brain... if he develops one, i think he could be a pretty decent player.

hutchinson's the opposite in some respects, he's clearly got some talent, ability and a footballing brain but is lazy and looks disinterested - perhaps he thinks swindon is below him?

Exactly what I thought. It's almost if playing in L1 is demeaning to him. Ferry is the complete opposite, real quality and the right attitude.

Hadwin mentioned on the Radio that Hutchinson had a 'touch of the Simon Cox' about him attitude wise. Now if only he could discover than same on the pitch.

Not the first time a loan player has arrived to a lower league club with that attitude.

Simon Ferry on the other hand is a man who loves his football... Also, I notice he planted a big ol' kiss on Tope yesterday Smiley

Paynter has got just as much pace as Hutchingson and offers more in other areas, i would play him and revell together but keep the same system. Tope has got us the points in the last two home games, goals win you games so aslong as he gets a few im glad he's in the team.

thats the most frustrating thing about him, he has attributes.....strength, pace, power, can shoot once he's spent 20 seconds deciding if he wants to do so. but as for knowledge of how to play the game he hasnt got the first clue.

He has played less league games than the likes of Kennedy,Morrison,Maklin.A bit of perspective needs to be used here with this lad.Never played league football and is effectivly being used as a winger yet has scored 2 in 3.I don't really know what more people can ask really,i have read some say that Macca,Maklin or Marshall should all start instead of him yet he has scored the same in a town shirt as these 3 players combined.

Lets be honest - thats total bollocks.

He's also our top scorer in the league.

Been round the block chum!

I know shite when i see it...

The lad just cannot seem to make the right decision in reference to:

Passing - running - tackling - heading...

Scoring two goals (one of which Mildenhall jumped over) doesnt turn my head.

Why dont we let smith take all the pens - does that make him great if he scores em??

I think we've all been spoilt a bit by Cox and have too high expectations from loan strikers. He's a whole lot better that Colin f'n Heath was. How that guy got into the Manchester United youth academy I'll never know.

You cant argue with his goals return. Its more than anyone else.

We are 5th, Tope has played a big part of the games so far, it therefore works (playing him).  Results are better and performances are better so far.
