In the USA, women's football(sorry soccer ) is massive. I think networks there are obliged to show a large amount of it, therefore the sponsership is there.

I'm not on about getting some of them to do page 3, just give them a higher profile
Oh, I'm sorry, I misunderstood you. Maybe it was this that gave me the impression you wanted women footballers to promote themelves using their tits and arses rather than their sporting ability? they need to make the most of what they've got - which is fit birds, tits and arses. Turn some of them in to pin ups and suddenly you'll get a lot more blokes going My apologies for misconstruing you

I believe a Women's Premier League, due to be played in the summer months, is due to start in the next few years.
I'll go along if there's quotas involved. I'd like to see something along the lines of 40% bubble buts, 40% top heavy chests, and throw in for comedic value 20% (relatively speaking) skillful players.

I never saw one game advertised in three years living there. Not saying you're wrong, but 'soccer' (i.e. MLS) is a poor 5th (at best) behind the big 4 in the US.

I never said that their sporting ability shouldn't come in to it, obviously it should. I'm just suggesting they pick some of the fittest players and use them to help promote the women's game, which could be done tastefully and without them getting their tits out. Though obviously if they want to get their tits out its up to them. The NBA did the same thing some years ago. They picked a handful of players and turned them in to superstars to promote the sport as a whole and it worked - making the game a lot more popular.

this thread is depressing.
A shame that Norse Brunhildes couldn't beat the Teutonic Brunhildes....women's football should be enjoyed for what it is and not compared to men's. The frauleins are a very decent outfit....I'd like to think we've a chance but fear a mullering.

Haha! Arriba does have a point though - they are generally pretty rubbish in comparison to their male counterparts

La was horrible
The only good things I found in LA were: - Whale watching trip - Universal studios. - The tourist sights Bad things: - Drive everywhere - Too spread out - Pollution - Gridlock - Being taken to a gay bar by a black man. Mind you, as training courses go it wasn't too bad Happy days.

But there's no point in comparing women to men...women generally are shorter, therefore have more difficulty with the high ball.
