Let's hope that we manage to sign a striker on a permanent basis otherwise we are stuffed if Tope (assuming he comes back) or the Celtic lad get recalled.

Couple of exciting signings. Ferry is rated as a genuine prospect (and would have probably broken through into Mowbray's thoughts this year had Donati not performed his surprising turnaround), and Hutchison's progress was stalled by injury as opposed to lack a lack of ability. Plus the latter has first tem experience on both sides of the border.

Double chuffed! Cool

Celtic have a million strikers on their books. Mcdonald, Samaras, Fortune, Maloney, Killen and more youngsters who are ahead of this fella in the pecking order. The chances of him being recalled are slim.

I thought that being its a 4+ month loan deal its classed as a long term loan thus making Celtic unable to recall them early?

from a celtic site "BEN HUTCHINSON AND SIMON FERRY ..are of to swindown town until january on loan.......ive watched both on numerous occasions playing for the Celtic reserve team and can only say that Swindon will reap the rewards from these two players.......big Hutchinson is a route one player towards goal and i wouldnt be suprised one bit to see him by january having bagged atleast 20 goals for the Robins!
all in all both are outstanding prospects"

20 goals by january hahahahaha i would love it but lets hope for about 10 me thinks

I'll quite happily settle for 10, but if he scores 20 I won't be complaining.

I reckon if both do well we should be able to extend the loans for the rest of the season. They wouldn't feature much this season for Celtic as they have too big a squad

Apparently we have been offered a player on loan but he will have to go straight into the team so Wilson is undecided aas the team has been playing well has said he will make a decision tomorrow if he does not want him now he has said he will sign him in a few months time

Don't worry Rich ... we'll soon dilute that effervescence. It's the Swindon way. This positivity has to be stopped before it catches on and the town loses its identity.
