I wasn't sure about Trundle, mainly from a fitness perspective seeing as hes been branded as slow and lazy on many an occasion.
In hindsight, it could potentially be a good move, however I'd rather it was a loan with view of a perm move than anything else. With Paynter and Trundle though, we need pace so that doesn't rule out opportunities for Macklin either (unless DW signs a pacy striker).
I have a horrible feeling however that we may lose out again, not to Rovers as I don't think City or Johnson would be that stupid, however wouldn't suprise me if someone else came in late for him.
On another note, WBA have enough strikers - even a short term loan until we bridge the gap shouldn't be dismissed.

I didn't realise until just checking that Corr has yet to play a full season yet, at the age of 24, having only started in about 30 odd games in his career. Now he's managed to earn himself a little rest for a game or two.

Well Southampton have been linked and can probably afford his wages.

Corr - how much i wanted him to do well, the only thing he was consistant at was being injured Sturrock - yes, he runs around alot but his goal scoring record was poor at best at this level Razak - never really had a chance but from what i've heard bit of a loose canon
i'd take trundle above those?
Exactly

They have just signed Lambert today. Doubt they will want Trundle now..

I'm quite happy to pass on Trundle. If we are to go there then I'd prefer a loan period where he can be assessed before we jump in with both feet on a 2 year contract.

Someone earlier in the thread said 10k, not sure if that was just a guess.

Id love to have him here if he could recapture his form for swansea here then could be a top buy... And would be great to see skill like this every week...
McNamee usually has tricks every game. Whether they result in anything is another matter. But this is the type of thing I wouldn't want, I'd want Trundle to get recognition for the goals he scores and not the fancy tricks he can do.
