a friend of mine delivers to the madejski stadium he supported reading for years and says he saw AF down there 2 days ago could simon church be on his way? or radoslav vasilev? there the only 2 strikers that i can see that are available to us

I hear Simon Church is definitely going out on loan this season, he might be at a bigger club but very inexperienced for the hustle/bustle of Division One life.
Saying that on the occasion I saw him play he was outstanding.
Hope it is Simon Church.

Could be anything....there's a hotel in the Madejski, Fitton might have been on business.

Or even been to the shops.

8 goals in 12 Wales U-21 games and with quite a good track record for a player of his age. I think it's worth a gamble. Cox was and look what happened there!!

i agree

We all would like to see Town up to the Championship next season and if the same occurs with Church as what happened with Cox then we won't be saying bye to him. He will be here next season also so fingers crossed he'll team up with BP and stick a few in the net!!

Take the gamble DW.

With the transfer embargo at Palace maybe we might have a chance on signing Jon Obika on loan from Spurs possibly?

Although I understand he would prefer to stay in London and at a Championship level club given the chance.

saw that. Nice partner for Coxy there. His height and Coxy's finishing. Not bad on paper.

Or as the partner to Ruben Reid rather than Cox?

That's a lot of strikers they've bought now: Beckford, Reid, Cox, Luke Moore, Ishmael Miller, Craig Beattie and Roman Bednar (although there are the obvious question marks over Bednar)

Di Matteo got a bit of a striker fetish?
