And this is on FF, about the Norski:

Quote
yep, has a strike rate of almost in 1 in 3. the next fyortoft for us?
Someone whos been reliable of late on this is has a feeling michael uwezu from fulham could be the season long loan were after
Hope we're not kept in suspense for too much longer

I found this info out first on thisis, while on the thetownend forum they seem more content with wind ups like billy paynter to leyton orient
and DV says the mongs are on thisis

Indeed, we ALL say that the mongs are on thisis.

If we can't have a wind up ... can we have a Windass?

In this mornings Guardian (Thursday), there is a League One preview and our star man to watch out for this season... Lloyd Macklin.

Good luck to him! I rate him as an 18 yea old but has no proven record. Where does the Guardian get it from hey!!

Also says that we will finish mid table. Not happy with that

I'm sure they had Sean Morrison as our man to watch last season, so they must know something about our youff set up.

I'm glad most opinions in the media predict a mid table/bottom half finish.... no great expectations myself but I reckon we could surprise a few people.... (by going down... arf arf arf...)

I'd prefer it if the Guardian or whichever publication had us down for relegation fodder when the opposite became true.

A bit like the season Kamara said we'd go down from this division but we ended up doing pretty well.

Yes, reverse psychology!! Note for DW - DO NOT MENTION PLAYOFFS OR PROMOTION!!

Well if they want to say we'll do well and we do well that would be just as good. I think what I'm trying to say is that I'm not overly fussed what the media reckons of our chances.

Another person said it was nice that it was mentioned we were one of six ex-Prem teams in this division this season. I don't really know what's nice about that.

Anyway, sign strikers and goal machines. Grrrrrr.

I'm in agreement DRS. I'm especially concerned that we'll get to the last week of August, not sign anyone better than what we've already got and then sign players that will do a decent job, thus we've missed out on having a full strength squad for a month and not have the wonder striker we're after.

If such a gamble pays off it may be worth it though. It seems strange we have absolutely no new strikers in yet though.

I'm available, a bit (lot) of Ronaldoesque liposuction and I'll be as good as ready. I have a goal a game record at professional football grounds.

I'll await the phone call on August 31st.
