Just thinking out loud really, when you look at the new signings compared to last season's counterparts, on the face of it does seem quite good without having seen them play.
Lucas > Brezovan
Douglas > Pook/Timlin/Easton/Peacock
O'Brien > No winger

Wilson's just doing what we wanted Malpas to do last summer. It was easier for Wilson because he could get rid of a lot of players but the last few days really does make me wonder what on earth MM was up to.

Did you ever listen to the bloke talk. Behind the lazy mouth Scottish accent, that he turned down to quite a low volume, he was usually talking a complete load of bollocks. On the other hand, Wilson speaks well. Agree completely about Aljofree. He is an average centre back, reminds me of Razor Ruddock when he was at Swindon. As a full back he would be useless. |

I think Cuthbert is a CB/RB and Lescinel a LB/CB. Pretty certain Lescinel has only played LB for us, and normally as part of a 3 man defence. Given the amount of cover we have for CB, I wonder if Aljofree or Ifil could be leaving? Or Morrison? |
