Am I the only person that isn't filled with confidence about Kevin Amankwaah playing as a wing back.
Nope, I think Big Kev is the perfect player for a wing back. I'm surprised last season we didnt see more of him down the right with Jack Smith at full back behind him

No doubt linking up with his old boss, improved Amankwaah, it would be good if that carried on this season for a new contract.

Apart from Huddersfield at home, he wasnt that bad to start with.
However our fans remember the Huddersfield home game where he was shite and none of the other games around that time when he played well.
He still did improve under Wilson mind you

You can now add Cuthbert to the list, maybe he will play right back and Amankwaah will play on the left?

wankwaa is a sure starter imo.he went from utter shite,to a consistant performer pretty quickly.he won me over after i slated him.his form was the reason jack smith was shown the door i reckon.

For once I agree with you arriba, I was really impressed with Amankwaah towards the end of the season.

I can echo that sentiment, bar the fact i'm not worried about the striker(s) as the last week has proved they will come, and they will be a decent standard, of that i have no doubt.

The wingers will swap through the game anyway, Wilson did this a lot last season, and I can see that happening again.
We prob need to sign just the one full back (LB), and two stikers, prob one of these on loan. The squad then be fine, a good strong starting 11, with back up from a mix of youngsters (Thompson, Maklin, Kennedy etc), and expereince (Easton, Peacock, Ifill etc)
Well My LB has been signed, now for the two strikers!
