This test has got draw written all over it. Unless our shite attack can make them play then they'll just stay there and bat it out. Add to that a day of rain and you've got a draw. Ashes retained, fucking Aussie cunts.

Given the nature of the pitch, both teams batting looking dodgy (except Clarke) throughout the series, 2 bowling attacks finding form and 10 wickets already down when you posted this... take a bow, this is easily the most stupid prediction ever and there's been a few.

I thought it looked dodgy and they just confirmed it on Sky - Collingwood was out to a no ball.

It's a wonderful chance, let's hope we can push on tomorrow and to also let the possibility of an
Ashes win,resonate with the public.

A great day for test cricket... Even if we lose or draw, we gave it a go.

Anything less than victory now is failure. One good session will not let them off the hook.

In all honesty we only need 150, then provided we don't bowl like absolute mongtards we should have it wrapped up.

I'd fancy my chances with my leg spin on that wicket, despite not playing for 8 years or so.

The wicket is just getting worse for batting. Anything over 300 should be a decent enough lead. If you want to be ultra safe then say 350. I'm sure we could achieve that though tbh. Bet the Aussies are gutted they left out a proper spinner though I'd have gone with 2 spinners if I was an England selector.

I agree. Seeing as there are 3 days left we should just aim to rack up as many runs as possible tomorrow, being careful not to throw wickets away. Then there'll be plenty of time to bowl them out, and it'll simply be a case of not giving away cheap runs.

It all sounds so simple, so it won't work out like that.

One other thing that is worth noting is the Aussies body language dropped a hell of a lot when they came out to bowl. Normally at 58-3 they'd be chomping at the bit but half of them still looked as if they'd actually already lost the game. That seems to be as if they are very worried they won't make the runs.

My only concern is the 2 guys who have it in them to produce an absolute masterclass from nowhere and win a test are Messrs Ponting and Clark....

The forcast for tomorrow isn't that good, i think some quick runs are order of the day incase it does rain tomorrow. Hopefully we can get at least 150 today aswell as having them in to bat at around 5:30pm. A lead of near to 400 and them in bat by the end of the day, they couldn't possibly win in that situation could they? Why wasn't Key selected either, showing good form isn't he?
