A worrying stat- runs scored by Englands Batsman/Bowlers

In the series to date:

England’s top 5 wickets – 937 runs (Strauss, Cook, Bopara, Bell/Pietersen, Collingwood)
England’s bottom 5 wickets – 910 runs (Flintoff, Broad, Swann, Anderson, Monty/Onions/Harmison)

I think the bottom stand might be missing Broad and Swann's little dash on the final day as well so they could even be ahead.

Edit: Re-looking at this, I think it's the last 5 wickets to go down, so a lot of Priors runs are probably included in the bottom figure.

there's only been one century scored by an english batsman in this series as well, that worries me a little.

Why not, after all it's not like it's a high pressure game coming up is it ? Can you imagine how the Aussies would treat him at the crease ? Just the ticket for a man with a stress related illness.

A ludicrous suggestion. They'll be suggesting Ramprakash comes back in next, oh, hang on a minute....

Trescothick has issues with touring abroad and leaving his family, not stage fright.

That's the thing, Reg.  On this pitch, we have.  That's why it's going to be so forking infuriating when we chuck it all away.
