Broad has just left after an entertaining knock. 228/8.

So do you reckon there will be wholesale changes for the final game?

There's talk of Rob Key being brought in.

You can't make loads of changes. That would unsettle the side and make defeat certain. I do think Bopara's position needs to be looked at and i'd bring in Key for the number 3 slot. Bell is useless but i'd keep him for this match just based on the fact he's played enough tests and has the experience so is a better option than chucking Trott in at the deep end. As for the bowlers well i'd like to think Freddy will come back and if he does i'd get rid of Harmison becuse he's useless. If Freddy isn't fit then i'd go with 2 spinners and drop Harmison.

Mark Ramprakash.

If freddi aint fit then get sidebottom in. At least he has some idea over where the ball will land half the time.

Players I've heard suggested on the Radio tonight:

Batsmen: Ramprakash, Trott, Key, Trescothick, Solanki, Denly, Moore, Shah, Hildreth, Carberry, Gerraint Jones

Bowlers: Mahmood, Tom Smith, Cork (!) Sidebottom, Rashid, Plunkett, Panesar, Bresnan

Also Botham, but I think that one was tongue in cheek. Interesting week to be a selector I think.

Imagine a return to Test cricket for Mark Ramprakash! He surely hasn't played for well over 5 years now (for England that is).

Surprised no-one has mention Michael Vaughan yet.

Only recently retired.

If he came back and scored the runs to win the Ashes back for England it would up there with George Foreman smoking Michael Moorer to win the Heavyweight championship in 1994 at the ripe old age of 45.

Ramprakash is a joke surely? He's fucking useless at Test level. Tresco to return for 1 test would be ace. If only someone could twist his arm...I think he's said he may consider playing home tests again but not tours. The lure could be hard to resist.

This panic is madness?

Maybe 1 change from the group of players that have played in the series so far? Surely no more than that?

Its sad that England seem so dependent on one player. The team is going to have to learn to be without Flintoff.

A true England Legend.
