It's no good bowling line and length to Clarke and Haddin. They're both very good drivers of the ball and they'll just keep putting it away.

Depending on the conditions, if there's no swing I'd like to see either some quick bursts of short stuff, or pitch it right up in the block hole. Might leak the occasional 4, but it should keep the runs down from what they were getting yesterday.

Flintoff to Haddin, OUT, got him! Got him! He's out. A superb line and length, and Haddin feels for it to edge it low to Collingwood at second slip who takes a fine catch

:p

i still think we'll do this but it'll be squeaky bum time all day!

One more before lunch and I think we'll be OK.  Still doable from their point of view though...just.

I'm about 3 miles away in central London - and blue skies and sunshine here.  A few clouds, but they're of the wispy white variety.

From the Guardian:

WICKET! Hauritz 1 b Flintoff (100th over: Australia 367-8) need 522
Ricky Ponting is now biting his nail furiously. That was one of the great Ashes innings by Clarke, the memory of which shouldn't be eclipsed by the fact it looks as though it will have come in a losing cause. And there goes Hauritz! That's four for Flintoff, courtesy of a serious misjudgement from the batsman, who shouldered arms to a ball that slanted back in at his wicket and knocked over his off stump. Siddle is in, and England are now just two wickets away from the win. These are now Flintoff's best-ever figures (24-4-69-4) at Lord's, in his final Test innings at the ground. He almost completes his five-for with a yorker, but Siddle just squeezes it away square for four.

The red highlighting is mine.  How are you feeling, Ricky?  I bet he's deciding on his post-match whinges as we speak.
