Shit.  Anyone else seen this pattern?

Strauss not out                  134
Cook lbw b Johnson              95
Bopara lbw b Hilfenhaus         18
Pietersen c Haddin b Siddle    32
Collingwood c Siddle b Clarke  16
Prior  b Johnson                     8
Flintoff not out                      4

Flintoff will go next ball.  Then Broad goes for 2, Swann for 1, Anderson for ½ and Onions for ¼.  We're doomed.

Broad wandering out now.

Bit early for a nightwatchman isn't it?

Jimmy A would want to get out there as early as possible.

I can only guess that the decision was taken out of his hands.

'Nelson' claims its second victim. Where's David Shepherd when you need him?

Think we'll struggle to get to quad nelson now.

My money is on 435 with Jimmy A unbeaten in the 40s.

Cook just having a good old pick of his nose there on camera.

Then flicked it over the balcony onto the ECB members.

Good lad.

Shame we fell away a bit towards the end but The Aussies bowled well to be fair to them. Seems there is more in the pitch than Cardiff. Think anything over 400 is very good total.

Whilst we're on the subject of pointless statistical coincidences, did you notice that England's finishing total of 364, is the same as Len Hutton's score in the Ashes Oval test of 38...when England racked up 903-7 dec ?
