There was a really freaky guy in a pink hat sat near the club shop this morning, but don't think it was him.

Why one sock?  Aren't they usually bought/sold in pairs?  Has someone been on the rob but dropped one sock on the way out?  Or perhaps someone with the need for only one sock took a pair off the shelf, separated them, and robbed just one?

I think I should get back to work.  This conundrum has made my head hurt.

Perhaps Heather Mills has already been in and snapped one up

Jonathan Douglas has a lot of options, but it's encouraging that he was prepared to come
to the CG for talks today.I just hope that we're prepared to push the boat out to get him.
as he and Greer would be the lynchpins to the team.

From the Leeds forum -

Quote
No way he'll join Swindon.

Surely a Championship team like Peterborough, Barnsley etc would add him to their squads. Would'nt be suprised if Blackwell came in for him as he's a free agent.

Definately good enough to play at Championship level.

When he left Leeds. The club said it was "exceptionally difficult to agree terms acceptable to both parties" with the 27-year-old.
This suggests he wants a wage which was too high for us, how could Swindon even think about signing him.

Don't think he will go there, he's better than that

dont agree, think he cud do far better and dont think swindon can afford him. still football all about opinions !

Good luck to him, but he really should be signing for a Championship club as he is more than good enough in a holding CM role.

would be surprised to see him go to swindon and he is good enough for championship

good luck to him and he will be playing the championship next season fact

Seems like Leeds fans think hes too good for us!

I agree, but what's that got to do with anything? They're saying he's too good/expensive for them, which means he's probably too expensive for us

Perhaps he'll be one of those rare players that wants to join a project rather than just earn the bucks - he's done that...

Regardless, Jonathan Douglas signing for Swindon would be a very decent and will make a lot of people happy.

Fair play to him for coming down and having a chat but I can't help but think his agent has now phoned around clubs saying, "Jonathan will sign for Swindon on Monday so hurry up with an offer".
