Still scored less goals from more games that Tshimanga though.

One takes penalties, one doesn't.

One is also playing against Birmingham, Wrexham, Charlton etc and the other complete dross.

I hope you aren't insinuating Tshimanga is a better player.

Wonder why he was let go, thought he should have been offered a new contract.
I don't remember the exact wording but there was a strong implication when the retained list was released he was only here because of Morris and had no interest in staying under Gunning.

To be honest I'm not sure any of the senior players released last summer were because the club released them rather than them telling the club they were off.

To be fair RHM only scored 10 goals in 50 appearances in L2 for us against teams like Tranmere, Sutton and Newport and he missed 2 penalties for us (1 in the league and 1 in the cup).

I am suggesting that there is little difference between the 2 players TBH.

Bloke behind me in the queue in James & Owen in Stroud had an STFC team picture from Lou Macari days in his hands for photocopying. I got chatting: Gary Marshall. Stroud born. Started as an apprentice at Coventry City.

Seen a few people discussing players released last summer in this chat lately, so here is a summary.

Charlie Austin: Scored 10 goals as AFC Totton finished 2nd, they have their play off semi final tomorrow.

Tomi Adeloye: Joined Greenock Morton in February, has scored 3 goals 9 in games as his side finish mid table in Scottish Champ.

Frazer Blake-Tracy: Played 18 games in League One as Mansfield avoided the drop.

Conor Brann: Joined Cork City in December 2024 and has been an unused sub in all 12 of his sides League of Ireland games.

Tom Brewitt: Joined USL Championship side Orange County in February. He has made 8 apps so far and has been captain in all those games.

Tom Clayton: Very strange one, yet to find a club and nothing online about him being linked with any clubs either.

Reece Devine: He has played 33 National League North games for Kidderminster Harries, contributing 1 goal and 5 assists as his side finished 3rd in the league.

Brooklyn Genesini: He has played 38 National League South games for Weymouth FC, contributing 5 goals and 2 assists as his side finished 23rd in the league.

Rushian Hepburn-Murphy: He has played 45 games in all comps for Crawley Town, scoring 10 goals and contributing 4 assists.

George McEachran: Played 43 games in League Two for Grimsby Town, winning their Player of the Season award as they sit 8th in League Two with 1 game left.

Tyrese Shade: He has played 42 National League games for Eastleigh. Scored 14 goals and produced 6 assists as his side sit 11th in the league.

Pretty much as I expect tbh. FBT was the one who could obviously do ok higher.

Clayton is made of sand, unsurprising he hasn't got a club.

Devine was never going to get a league club with his history. Kidderminster took a chance on him and it's paid off.

Glad to see Devine has had almost a full season of games after his torrid time with injuries here.

Sadly it seems to me that Clayton is done. Never nice to see players careers end so early thanks to injuries. Hopefully he has a good support network around him.

The Clayton Macdonald partnership under Lindsey during that unbeaten run from September to November was very good.

Then Clayton got injured. Then Macdonald got sold. We can't have nice things.

Interesting to see that alot of those players listed above had horrific injury records for us but have managed a full season since leaving us
