Louis Barry scoring his 15th of the season on what could well be his last appearance for Stockport today before being recalled by Villa.
Think they said he’s playing new year’s day. Mental he is still only 21 and this is his 7th pro side he’s played for.

Did make me laugh to see Saidou Khan has only played five League 2 games this season because of injury. Made quite a few social media digs at the club after he left.

Probably justified digs though. Many on here (me included) have well-known grievances with the regime. Imagine if they were your employer. I dreamt of playing for Swindon as a kid, yet the way the club is run is the polar opposite of a business I would respect and admire. Another situation where one needs to separate (I) the club - ie, the collective will of the fans, and our shared history and (ii) the ownership passing through. Love the team, not the regime.

Rightly so Saidou was treated like shit by the likes of Kennedy and some people up top not surprised that he’s had a dig.  Shame as Holloway could probably get him back to his best

How was he treated like shit by up top? Because they extended his contract via the option when he clearly wanted to leave?

Or Gunning publicly touting him for sale by coming out with crap like ‘best midfielder in league 2’

I certainly find it hard to imagine that it's a joy to be employed by our club sadly. Certainly FBT and Austin - two experienced players who have an idea what it's like elsewhere - were very critical.

It was mostly Kennedy, froze him out the 1st team then wouldn’t let him train with them either

Russell & one of Clems cronies didn’t help either.

Very frustrating player, clearly had potential but within 3 months of joining he looked like he was waiting for a better club to come in, glad to see he’s not gone any higher. Players like Ofoborh also play under these shit employers however at least they try their best.

Do you think it was a Lou Reed situation,  wanted an expensive earner off the wage bill? Or plain not fancied for football reasons? Or something else?

Can't say I was arsed he went based on football ability.
