I would love him back. shouldn't have started the play off games though i think we needed a bit more experience and possibly him making an impact from the bench

Unfortunately we only really had Mitchell-Lawson as his backup so he had to play. I actually thought he might have excelled at Vale Park with their big pitch. But sadly that wasn't to be the case. I wouldn't be against having him back but I doubt Villa would loan him to us to be a 'luxury' player off the bench.

He wouldn't be on the bench for us i just thought in that away game it's the option i would have gone for, maybe started Gladwin in midfield

If squad depth had allowed we definitely could have donewith swapping out Barry & Davison for (certainly the start) of that second leg.

If I remember rightly Daniel Sturridge had a torrid time there.

Has anyone told Charlie that it's not on the M4?

Do you think Charlie got the lowdown from Clem about Oz when he was over and Charlie came to watch us during the play-offs? I wonder if it doesn't work out for him over there we would be able to accomodate him in a year or so for his final hurrah?

I guess that actually is possible.

Could be his last chance of a nice paying swansong before retiring.
