Former Town midfielder Paul Ince appointed interim manager at Reading.

:Gulp: They could be toast then. Did Thomas interview him for the job?

rumours going around that Joey Beauchamp has taken his own life.

hopefully this is some twisted list of rubbish, in which case I'll delete this post

It's all over twitter, if it's a hoax it's a great illustration of how bullshit can spread, if not RIP.

If this sad news turns out to be true can someone who is sensible and has covert yellows forum membership post something genuinely ‘supportive’ on their site for and on the behalf of all of us genuine football fans?

I used to drink in Oxford and before Joey signed for us we often met up in Burger King at end of the night.
A genuinely quiet and likeable lad that knew we were Swindon but we got on.
He actually celebrated in front of me when they scored at the Manor.

Genuinely gutted by this news and rivalry gets parked.
RIP Joey - great memories and being an Oxon Red plenty of friends that support the others.
Very saddened by this.

Matt Preston seriously injured and match abandoned. Apparently treated for 15 minutes

hoping all is well, obviously

At least he is smiling, albeit the suggestion of 'first' surgery suggests its going to be a long old job. https://twitter.com/Matt_Preston1/status/1495401659031293957?s=20&t=HEN0vwlO5bL8JzHbAIfkZA
