Matt Preston sustained a 'serious injury' today which resulted in the game being abandoned.

Hope he is ok, but sounds like career over.

Apparently an ankle/leg break from a challenge

Can't be good to have 15 minutes treatment and match abandoned

The abandoned bit is worrying, considering the horrible injures and near deaths which have not led to games being abandoned, fuck sake, hope he is OK.

That was awful seeing that on TV plus the Blackburn player whose leg was dangling where it had snapped.

Sometimes they have to abandon games at that level as they don't have enough medical cover in case there's another injury (as they may have had to go the hospital with him)
