My recollection of his 19/20 was a superb start to the season up until an injury just after Christmas…possibly the match after he scored a hat-trick on Boxing Day. Rightly overshadowed by Yates and Doyle, but he was pivotal to a lot of our best performances during that season. In my opinion I don't think that's far off my recollection to be honest needs a couple of injury free seasons.

Anyone know how DJ is doing at Charlton and Matt Smith at Doncaster as you very rarely hear about them.
I’ve got a friend who’s a Charlton fan. He was very impressed by DJ but thought Matt Smith was poor

Won’t be long before he resigns. Wouldn’t want on a relegation on his CV would he!

He may end up battling with Sheriden for the Oldham job if Curle gets the boot or resigns.

I havent looked into it but apparently they have spent more than Wrexham this season on wages and fees for players, not sure where the owner got his money but he seems to be loaded.
Property, mainly of the student accommodation variety.

Watched Doncaster the other night vs Cambridge and Smith played really well. Was the best of the ex Town players on show. John Bostock was poor, Kyle Knoyle was average, James Brophy completely anonymous, Lloyd Jones poor.

A fitting tribute to the late great Jon Gittens, one of my favourite ever Town defenders, always gace more than 100% if that is possible, he is greatly missed having died at the age of just 55, the same age I am now. https://www.thisiswiltshire.co.uk/news/19689378.fa-name-st-georges-park-pitch-memory-swindon-town-defender-jon-gittens/

Thanks for posting. Gitts' strong tackling alongside the Fridge's calm made for a favourite combination of mine at the heart of our defence. I enjoyed learning more about his subsequent coaching background as well as his personal qualities. What a loss at just 55. Fine words from his son and, for once, we can appreciate a nice gesture from the FA.
