i keep finding the need to stick up for hunt. who played left back, right back, centre back last season and did very well without every getting a run of games in his true position.
From the start of the season we actually had KKH at right back so i dont believe what your saying is true as he is better than egbo- both offensively and defensively.
I don’t think KKH was better offensively. He was a better footballer, he was more talented but I never considered him threatening. I never got that gut feeling he was going to make something happen when he had the ball at his feet. I got that from Egbo. It wasn’t necessarily skill, just the sheer directness |

I don't really blame him or care TBH. Many of us were questioning him mid season. Some of 'us' were down right abusive to him. |

Should have said from January, if we had Egbo from Jan I’m very confident we could’ve won a few more points. FWIW, I think Hunts best position was centre back, as there was never an expectation for him to attack. Was steady. |

He was alright filling in as part of a 3. To say that those appearances were his best are laughable. |

Laugh all you want. The games he played at centre half last season were 100% his best performances of the season in comparison to him doing the backwards sideways shuffle at full back. |

Agree. Crewe away was a standout performance when he filled in for an injured Baudry. |
