I see Russell Slade has signed a 2 year deal at Brighton and his target for Brighton is a top six place next season.

He's done a fucking good job there since he took over so I'd take him at face value, actually.

he has pretty much done the same as wilson, released shit loads and pledged to be pushing for a play off place. Last year at withdean, i expect them to get 15,000 + at falmer regularly.

I dont know how they managed to stay up?

Still a mystery to me.

You would have to say he's done well.

Slade pulled off the great escape at Brighton. Can't believe he managed it!

He did a fantastic job in a very short time - wouldn't put it past him and them doing well next season.

A very good friend of mine is a Brighton fan so I'm pleased they stayed up - or at least I was once we were safe.

They had a good run-in, resuts went their way. Northampton lost it because of their last two games against Franchise and Leeds.

Meh.

But we all played the same teams twice did we not?  If they didn't pick up enough points before those admittedly difficult last two games then its their bad as far as I'm concerned.  Northampton lost it because they lost too many of their 46 games, not their last two.

Thanks for the several football cliches there Wink What do you want me to say? Because what you've said is true etc etc

Honestly, I don't care enough to make a decent argument (hence 'meh')
