I dont agree, tickets get snapped up by casuals and friends of regulars for these sort of occasions, leave it a bit late and your fucked.
So don't leave it late, if it's important to you, you won't.

Not everyone just has Football to think about Axs,you remind me a bit of the bloke from Fever Pitch or a "returnee" after a few years of not bothering.

True, but then I only have football to think of. And i still think if you are bothered about the game you will make the effort to make sure you get a ticket. Their ground holds 15,000. their average last season was under 6,000, even if we have 2K spare on the terrace there's plenty of room for those who make even a small amount of effort to get a ticket.

I just looked at their site and its probably 8k,so yes you have a point,I still think there is no need to give Swindon such a big terrace. When we came up I brought my Brothers (2) and my Nephew.Neither have come since or had been more than once before during the season,As I remeber it we had "proper " fans on her moaning that they couldnt get tickets, one was Phil i think?(who i sold a spare to..I may be wrong) I just think its a shame...

Excuse me for probably sounding somewhat silly however what's all this about police advice? Am I just not up to speed or has there been previous rilvalry between us and posh? If not it all seems a lot of fuss over nothing and I couldn't see an issue with dividing the terrace up so posh fans can see their team go up officially. I can't for one minute think why there would be any trouble?

But you're forgetting we're football fans and there's always one idiot who will try and start something. Mob mentality would kick in and you'd have a full scale riot on your hands.

I see your point, however the separation between Aldershot and Barnet away was minimal and apart from a bit of goading, there wasnt much else to write home about.

But until as recently as Saturday there was still a possibility that it would be a high tension match with potentially both sides needing a positive result to achieve their objectives. It's expecting a bit much for the Police to be able to react and downgrade the level within a couple of days. Easy to imagine a flashpoint under those circumstances.

there's always one idiot who will try and start something. Is it wrong that my first thought was 'is Fred going' when I read that?...
