There was also a mention on their forum that they were on a "final warning" from the FA. I have no idea if that is true or not. I think there was a bit of trouble when Plymouth played Posh in the FA Cup last season. Plymouth won with a dodgy penalty and muff wound up the Posh fans by celebrating in front of them. I think there was a bottle thrown at the muff players.

Its ridiculous that so many tickets have been given to us on "Police advice" Should have been made all ticket to Swindon Fans and we should have been given 500 or so tickets in a corner of main stand. Its depressing that so many home fans should have to miss out on a promotion party so Swindon fans can clap off a few losers and get their last fix of meaningless football for a few months..
I wish i could argue but i cannot....you are right.

No he's not. Why get depressed about people you don't care about not getting tickets?
Odd.

I'd have been more pissed off if we only got 500 tickets and needed a point to stay up.
And they had to plan on that basis.

The club probably didn't expect to have the level of demand from the home fans that they are getting, so it's a rather silly move on their part. It's a Peterborough issue, not ours. We can't help it if we've been allocated a particular amount of tickets and we don't sell them all.

Odd.
When we had Walsall last game a couple of years back the following happened to me: I have my daughter every three weeks and when i do i dont go to football (i love Swindon Town but i do love my daughter more!). At the last minute she became ill and couldnt come.....it was Thursday before the game and i couldnt get a ticket.....so i did what the posh fans did and begged for one on the forums and luckily i got one at face value... That does not make me a Cunt!! (Other posts i have placed do...but not this!).

Fair play to you Flash and i appreciate their will be the odd Posh fan in a similar situation to the one you faced that game. They will however be few and far between.
They will have about 6,000 fans who don't normally go there on saturday (based on their average attendance) anyway without reducing our allocation. On this basis why shouldn't we get more than 500 if we want em?
PS. You're right it doesn't make you a cunt. Apologies if you misinturpreted my post.

Not saying we shouldnt,im saying the we should have been given 500 and moved from that terrace as soon as they knew it was meaningless for us.Not sure where you get your 6000 figure from, many people are regular without going to every single match.

6,000 was made up but depends on your definition of "regular" i suppose. You can't get away from the fact that their grounds been too big for em most of the last 20 years and now all of a sudden its too small.
My point is most regulars will have a ticket with very very few exceptions (like those in Flash's case).
It would be a logistical nightmare to move 500 with a weeks notice anyway. I think we had sold approx this amount by last week anyway plus where would they move us to at such short notice. All the home seats have been sold it would appear.

Actually Spencer_White I live in Blackpool, PUFC being my second team scince 1960/61 promotion year and get to see them when playing up North and a couple of times at home each season when Blackpool are playing away. Got the weekend off work but too late to get a ticket. Enjoy the party and I'll wear my shirt with pride on Saturday and all summer long!
