Safe to say you won't watch the next series?

I gave up on Prison Break and just read about it instead to both satisfy my curiosity, and save the effort of actually having to watch it.

Locke is dead. Bloke at beginning with Jacob has been pretending to be Locke re-incarnated.

Other than that I don't think we know that much more. Jacob may or may not be dead. Same applies to Locke, Juliette, Jack and all the others Dharma Losties. In fact everyone who is dead may now be alive if they do a reset to the beginning and have Oceanic 815 land in LAX. We do know that they are coming, though we don't know who is doing the coming yet or if we've even seen who is going to come. Talking of which....

Juliette vs Kate. How can anyone want to jump Juliette - she is an old porker. Sawyer only did it as there were slim pickings elsewhere at Dharma. So its Kate everytime for me (looks like Sawyer will be hitting it as well now its back on the table). I bet she takes it up the arse as well, she looks well dirty.

I think they should've just ended it now. More certainty put on what would happen if the H-bomb exploded (alteration of history so the plane never crashed all them years ago when lost began). so viewers could be sure what happened without wasting people's time creating another series, which i believe will just be 4/5 episodes, just like the ending of prison break.

Prison Break is just on a mid-season break before the final 6 episodes are shown, mid-season breaks like that are common in the US. Though there is going to be a couple of extra episodes to wrap everything up.

The final season of Lost will have 17 or so episodes and that will be it (though there could be a mid-season break) the producers have been saying that for the best part of two years now. I guess they could do some extra specials or a spin off but it looks unlikely at the moment - the producers have said they have no plans to answer all the questions or tidy up all the loose ends. Which makes a lot of sense, why take away all of the mystery?

Pretty obvious Locke was in the box, had suspicions the alive version wasn't him before this episode but as soon as the box appeared then it was obvious.

Not sure the bomb is going to be the saviour of the Oceanic survivors. When Jacob said "they're coming" I thought he was talking about them, not the group with Capn' Frank. I wonder if the flash was the Island transporting them forward in time to protect itself, i.e. prevent Juliet from triggering the bomb.

They've started releasing official trailers and teasers for last season of Lost.

They seem to be giving the impression there will be a major reset, from videos shown at Comic Con;
- Kate is wanted for the murder of her step fathers apprentice, rather than her step father.
- Oceanic was launched in 1979 and has gone 30 years without any crashes, suggesting Oceanic 815 never crashed.
- Hurley has been running his chicken fast food chain since winning the lottery.

Sure there is a lot more to it than that though, if they did a complete reset the shit would hit the fan big style.

i lost interest in this with about 8 episodes to go in series 5.

i had them all on sky plus just in case and I watched them all yesterday. i think I called alot of it months back. certainly miles being the dr's father and whidmore being daniels father.

the cliff hangers seemed very much like an ending (a reset back to the start) so not sure where they are going to go from here...
