4-5-1  then at a rather random guess.

Suprised chris hasnt played more he's done well when he's been in the team...if it wasnt for Mark Crossley he would have scored a peach last season. Possibly the best set piece taker in the squad i reckon?

Although ive been abit dissapointed this season with Paynter i feel he will come good, from what i hear Wilson is a stickler for fitness and i just feel we havnt seen anyware near his best...hes our only target man now and he will be back...he hasnt seemed to be happy with his lot and Wilson will sort it hopefully....IMO its good that Wilson is giving everyone a run out.

He was very impressive at times, and a pile of shite at others. Inconsistent but every time I write him off he shows he has something.

That said, if the Kyle rumours were true one imagines he'll be on the bench a lot if Wilson gets his man.

I thought that last season. But he looked just the same after pre-season this year so I came to the conclusion he is as fit/mobile as he is ever going to be.

I think behind Cox this season Paynter has been our most consistent player, without him Cox does not look the same player.  Paynter is unjustly made a scape goat by alot of our fans.

In your opinion....and thats fine...my opinion is hes too inconsistent,a dodgy temperament, and always whinging at his own team mates....oh and it looks like Wilson is siding with my opinion at the moment, and hes not a fan....but as i said i think he could be a big asset in the Fallon mould if he gets his head down,i really hope he does.

I agree with Leefer but Cox does seem to have played better with Paynter in the team.

I like the 4-5-1 idea ... but surely Pook deserves a start .. had a brilliant last 5 mins as sub .. man of the match v Cheltenham reserves and a goal!

Id select

Brezovan

Smith Morrison Ifil Kennedy

McGovern Pook Peacock Easton McNamee

Cox

Maybe it's Peacock that's being dropped? *crosses fingers*

"Brilliant last 5 minutes" just about sums Pook up, its the other 85 minutes of rubbish that concerns me more. Fatters, whilst i admire your somewhat un-nerving dedication to Mr Pook surely even you can see that he is not the midfield kingpin that we are crying out for?
