Not relevant, they haven't been mismanaged for years. And yes, the £3 million figure has been floated by both Fitton and Watkins.

Which is why they stated we'd need to sell someone in January.

Is 3 million a year an official figure becuase if we are losing that much on 8k crowds how much are the likes of Hereford,Cheltenham,Crewe etc losing. 

Yes official. And the reason is because of the historic debts. They are working bloody hard to reduce this £3M to something more manageable from next season but bear in mind only Walsall and Crewe were actually profitable in our league.

It doesn't matter if you have a wage sustainable by our attendances. If you can't service our historic debts the result is the end of the club. Chelsea at least have a fuck load of saleable assets (players and so on), their own ground and a large fan base. They may go backwards but I bet they would get enough £££ in to survive .

We have none of this. We would probably go under.

In other words I believe Chelsea are in a much better position to continue as a football club if their funding is cut than we are.

No they didn't, or if they did I missed it. At the AGM they said it is realistic to expect we would sell if the price is right, and that was in the context of emerging youth players.

They also said the squad needed reducing in size. With the likes of amankwha, Marshal and Casal doing nothing it's not too worrying.

Our only saleable assets ATM is Cox and Morrison. Watkins has said a the Trust AGM  Cox is going nowhere on the cheap when asked (an example figure of 800K being the definition of cheap was  provided my a member IIRC).

Things may have change. Or a silly offer may have come in, but I have never seen a quote saying we are duty bound to sell in Jan.

They never said January at all. They said this year. That could be January, or it could be at the end of the season.

Fair enough, you may be right, depends on the offers that come in I suppose.. I think they'll be a bit more hardball when it comes to the £££ other clubs will be paying.

To be honest someone should make an executive decision and say Cox takes the penaltys. He only missed one (I think), and it could add a lot on his transfer.

It would be nice if a few clubs at the top started to implode. A nice big depression in the market is what we need, before the board try and spend any serious money. The only way I could see us getting in serious trouble is over spending in the transfer market. Hartlepool fans said that players Wilson has bought in recent years havent been the best, and weve all seen what happened in the summer with Casal. They need a really good scout.

The size of Chelsea's wage bill is obscene. Id love to see them back down a peg or three.
