Abramovich has decided to leave Chelsea and cut his losses. He has put the club up for sale for 200m.
This will be announced in the new year, info from a reliable source. Watch the wheels fall off at Stamford Bridge, they are losing 97m a season and I believe they have outstanding debts of 700m.

I'm sure some other ridiculously rich person will take hold of the reigns. The money they'd like wouldn't be available to them but they've hardly spent much recently, compared to what they and overs have spent before.
I'd quite like Chelsea to stay up there tbh, they've been the only serious contenders with Manchester United in the last few years with Arsenal and Liverpool being good when they want to but ridiculously inconsistent (bar Liverpool this season, who do look like they'll make a good go of a title challenge). A one horse race would be even more dull than usual!

Abramovich's personal fortune has dropped from 16 billion euros to 2.3 billion in less than 6 months.
Chelsea will go up for sale for 200 mill, Abramovich will be cutting his losses, he has already ploued 700m into Chelsea and they currently have debt of over 700m with an operating loss of over 90m.
It is obvious with his current financial position he cannot continue to keep putting money into the club, it will happen.

He does have a trust set up for the club, from what i remember, which he did in the event of him ever leaving or something to keep the club afloat.

You may laugh, but most of our backers' fortunes are tied up in equities. It could be us soon.

The difference is we are not paying our squad a 100 times are income. If the backers pull out of these top Prem clubs they will implode, if they pull out of us we will just get loans and free transfers instead of paying 80k for a player. To compare us with them is laughable.

Who pays our £3M projected loss? We'd have to sell everything in sight, and that leads to a death spiral IMHO.

Is 3 million a year an official figure becuase if we are losing that much on 8k crowds how much are the likes of Hereford,Cheltenham,Crewe etc losing. My point is even if they pull out we would rely on youth and loans and get rid of any higher earners, whereas the Prem clubs would truly implode suspect a couple of stars account for their total income unless they are going to play 2 a side .

Not relevant, they haven't been mismanaged for years. And yes, the £3 million figure has been floated by both Fitton and Watkins. If they pulled out we wouldn't be able to rely on youths and loans because quite simply we'd have no operating capital and would go bust, just like we nearly did under the old board who very much operated on a free transfer and loans basis. And if Abramovich pulls out of Chelsea I can't see them just 'imploding'. Yes, they have big losses but I bet their cash flow is considerably better than ours and they'd easily survive on their normal revenues.
