Is anyone else bored of people pledging their 100% support to the new manager, whoever gets in?
No?
Just me?
Oh well then.

You've swayed me. New guy, you have around 63% of my backing. Board, you have 76% of my backing.

The whole thing is tedious beyond belief and dont get me started on the many hilarious wags on this forum with their "joke" in the know posts.

I am in awe of your potential percentages.

If it's an ex-scummer they can fuck off.
Otherwise they'll get my support, I'm inevitably going to be less patient than I was with Malpas to see an improvement on the pitch though. That doesn't mean I expect us to suddenly become world beaters however.

Why thank you. I imagine if someone in the Hockaday-type category of candidates gets appointed, our dear friend Bart will return and will give 0% backing from the off... It should be fun.

I will support 100%:
Hockaday, or
Money
but I think that Sheena Easton has all the support she needs.

I won't be too happy with Hockaday but I won't be booing. I just won't be getting very excited about the rest of the season.

I think that sums it up. Sit back in silence and hope somehow the gamble works out.

Yup indeed. I know ppl will prob have a go for not being overly enthused, however I find it hard to find the appointment of Hockaday (if true) Particularly exciting.

I think we need a reality check. We are a third division team. We aren't going to be able to attract Sven Goran Erikkson or Otto Rehhagel to Swindon. If it is Hockaday then lets trust Fitton's judgement. He made a bungle with Malpas but the fucking appointment is taken so long that surely he must have got this right.
I'll be happy just to have a manager to be honest!

It's not about a name. It's about getting someone with experience or pedigree or a track record. IMHO Hockaday has neither and so is another massive gamble, whereas Money does have some of those attributes. If Hockaday was appointed by Diamandis 99% of people would be moaning like fuck that the cheap option had been appointed.
