It does sound like CC, and I'd be happy about that, like you I wasn't that keen, but the more I think about it the better it sounds. He really is a bloke with STFC running through his veins.

What?? Welcome our new manager??? No way, we need to keep up this "new tradition" of slating the new manager. Put up a banner on the M4 simply saying "WHO? ? ?" and then never show any warmth towards our new gaffer.
Then hopefully in 10 months time we can force him out and we can go through all this again!!

That seems to point more towards Money than Calderwood, unless Watkins is underestimating the "Wow today" factor of Calderwood. To be honest, you can pick various quotes out and conclude that it must be X or Y. You could "prove" it was any one of a dozen different managers on that basis. Until there is a formal announcement we wont know. |
