Both out of the running, according to The WDP today. Both men were interviewed, but have been told their applications were unsuccessful. Fitton is also understood to have made no move on Calderwood.
Yesterday, Fitton was quoted in the adver as saying neither Richard Money, nor Gary Speed have been approached.
Either AF is playing mind games, or there's going to be a real left-field appointment.
Maybee Sheena is on her way..........

Ling wouldn't even be under consideration if he wasn't an ex-player. Loved him when he was playing for us, but he's an average manager. I hope we are aiming higher. |

I hope it's not Ling. Popular player but i think he'd have a similar reaction from the fans as Malpas did
