Ultimately Brez got dropped after keeping our only clean sheet of the season and since then Smith has bizarrely kept his place. Smith needs to be dropped after today not just for the goal but for his general performance. That pass along our backline in the 1st half which ifil just managed to bail us out on would of been more embarrassing than his Leeds mistake.

Brez has come back in since originally being dropped and was poor. Neither keeper is at their best.

All this wanking over Brez is pathetic. If both were at the top of their games, Brez would be number 1, but they're not. Going on current form, I'd stick with Smith.

don,t get me wrong they were both good ,the goalkeeping coach needs to be looked at but smith has ,
thrown the ball in th net against leeds,
kicked fresh air against leicester
got beat on his near post against scunny,
puched the ball when it looked easier to catch resulting in another 2pts dropped.
brez may not be in top form but his misstakes  aren,t as monumentle.

Smith has cost us a fair few points this term and yet it's wrong to criticise the bloke?  I'm not saying Brezovan's the answer but Smith is doing no good for the team, confidence wise.  Nicky Hammond used to get much more stick than Smith has and yet he never made as many bad mistakes as PS, and that was at a higher level.

What you should have done is based your view on a rosy glow from a spectacular penalty save two years ago, a vague memory of describing Brez as "good enough for the Premiership, EASY" for a few weeks after that, and liberal helpings of rank prejudice against Smith and any manager who dares pick him above Saint Peter. Then you'd have a better idea.

To be fair, i just dont feel as comfortable with smith in goal. I know brez is liable to make mistakes too, but smiths this season have been far worse than i've seen from brez. And at thetop of their games, brez is the better of the two.

Who called the fans cunts?  I disagree with a lot of the shite that's written on here, but that doesn't mean I think the posters are cunts.

Anyway, I think what people are trying to say if if we swapped every underperforming player with another one, they'd underperform too, as pretty much the whole team is. Ergo, it makes fuck all difference singling out individuals when the whole team is really at fault.

Considering we're under a caretaker spell it's surprising. December is a big month for football all of our games are against opposition seemingly as shite as we are. Fans and players are nervous, but taking our frustrations out on individuals will only help us go down.

Sorry fella I wasn't saying don't criticise the bloke, I was saying that I find it astounding that a lot more people aren't moaning about the goalkeeping situation.  My point was Hammond is a word associated with clangers and yet Smith hasn't made more clangers this season than NH did in his entire career. 

I'm not gonna tell anyone to shut up re: criticism, as after poor performances like that they have every right to be pissed off, I know I was.  Granville got some stick from me, time everyone associated with the club started earning their wages.
