Well, maybe they should but anyone who's watched football at this level for more than 5 minutes would have seen performances that suggest that they can't. It's no use saying such and such "should" be the case. A manager has to be selected who can work with the way reality is, not the way we'd like it to be. Discounting motivational ability as a factor would be a disastrous mistake. |

He had great success with Cheltenham, and last season took Carlisle to the play-offs. This season didn't go well for him but he was forced to sell his best players. He's not my preferred choice but I wouldn't be too disappointed if he did become our new gaffer. |

I agree and whoever it is ( unless Scum links ) I'll get behind them and support them. Surely whoever is appointed is better than what we had. At least lets give them a chance to screw up rather than use it as a default position. |

I was never on anyone's back for not being excited about it because god knows I wasn't. I was on peoples back because they never gave him a chance. Ward will get my full support if he comes, but I just think it'll be a silly decision considering he's taken Carlisle from promotion contenders to relegation candidates.... |
