I wouldn't fully agree with that. He's not amazing but he did a more than adequate job at QPR and Plymouth. My problem is that he's a bit of a knobhead, I don't suscribe to all this "badger at the start of the mating season" whacky nonsense.

But he has over 600 games as a manager and is still young in management terms.

I know who Scottie Munroe wants now that's for sure....

Town chairman Andrew Fitton stated clearly before kick-off that he wants a manager with the ability, above all else, 'to motivate the players'.

I don't much about the rest but Holloway seems to fit that description.

Surely the players should be able to motivate themselves, surely it is their ability to man manage players and have a look at some of the players they have bought for previous clubs to ensure they know what they are doing in the transfer market.

It is also about who they surround themselves with i.e. do thry like working with certain people as their No 2 or in their coaching team
