10 months ago martin Ling was the name being bandied about. No one's mentioned him to date. Me personally, I would like to see either an untested big name like Hoddle/ Lou/ Ossie, but their aren't many around these days apart from Shearer or sheringham & doubt we could / would get either of them. The other alternative is the tried & tested route & we would again be hard pushed to get anybody who I would really get excited about here too. The last one we got in this category was Paul Sturrock & I can't think of anyone with a record as good as his was when we appointed him.
