Yep. Loads of improvements. I read about half the list:

...then gave up. "Much better all round, especially the match engine" sums it all up really.

I started a new game after getting the patch, unemployed. Got the Rushden job and we're top of the BSP (Blue Square Premier, for those of you understandably not up on your Conference lingo) half way through. Love them loans.

The new patch has rejuvinated my interest in the game. Somehow it's easier to see where things are going right/wrong.

Incidentally, I've played 7 won 7 in the league, conceding 3 goals and scoring 18. I've been using a tight 4-4-2 formation and adjusting it according to the game. There doesn't appear to be consistent home/away settings I've used.

I am currently 9th in the Prem and am find it mucho fustrating. It seems as though the top Prem teams are too strong. I.E. I always seem to lose heavily to then whilst doing OK with the other teams around me.

Got bored yesterday so decided to create a new club and start from scratch in the Blue Square South.

Started out with no players, no staff etc. but did cheat slightly by giving myself a Championship sized budget.

I'm going to take the BSS by storm this season. Signed a load of quality players for that league; Geoff Horsfield, Blair Sturrock, Tommy Black, Adnan Ahmed & David Duke to name but a few.

My game got corrupted and the only one that works is about 10 games prior. And I keep losing, even though in the other saves I was unbeaten for a run of 20 games (without cheating).

So SI Games can fuck the fuck off.

My faith has been rejuvinated by the new patch, its more responsive to changing tactics now and I am on a long winning run with Swindon 12 games so far now with a slightly modified 442....even though I hate 442 formations! sooo boring.

The best name I found was in an old version of CM - the poor chaps name was 'Doctor Fish', he was an auto generated AM/FC. I bought him from Preston on the strength of his name.

Anyone still play this? A new laptop means I can finally play this! Get in! Played a couple of hours so far, pleased with what I've seen so far, beat 'uddersfield away 2-0 1st game, then lost 2-1 against Brum at home in the league cup. No idea who to sign tho!

I'm still playing FM2006. I've just sold loads of players and currently have £250m to spend. I've sold about £160m of players in one season. Although i am in 2017.

As my Yoof system is as good as it can be, i keep getting some gems coming through. My latest infatuation is an Aussie kid who's amazing. Got him at 15, scored 7 in 3 games when 16 in the FA Cup. He's now 18, worth £6.25m, but due to my excessive policy of buying shed loads of players constantly, hasn't had a game for a couple of seasons. But then he is still in the U18's and has scored 29 goals in something like 15 appearances.

Just sold my number one striker to Arse for £20m (stolen at 17 from Shef Weds for about £500k). But wanted to as he was 25 and i like to cash in while i can still sell for an excessive price, to bring through a young guy. The other striker (AMLC/FC) is worth £21m and is captain of Brazil (purchased at 18 for £5m from Gremio). He's scored 18 in 22, with 18 assists or something. The yoof player i've bought through is 21, worth £11m and has scored 29 in 22. I could go on and on such is my love for my team...

I'm obsessed with buying and selling though. I spend hours trawling teams and leagues. I regularly buy players and sign players on frees that have no chance of ever playing for me, just so i can sell them a few seasons later for profit. You'd be surprised at the shit you can buy or steal, develop for a few seasons, and sell to the CCC or League 1/2 for £500k - £2m+ with 50% sell on clause.
