This game is frustrating the buggery out of me. I go on unbeaten runs then go on losing runs for the same number of games. Think I'm going to finish mid table which is about what was expected so at least that's ok.

I honestly think I'm going to have to sit down for an hour or two and sort out some tactics.

To top it all off, the last two games I've played I've had a man sent off before half time. Cunts.

Welcome to my world of FM2009 Si.

Frustrating isnt the word, nothing seems to give me any consistancy.

Just makes me want to figure it out more. Hopefully I will be able to spend some time getting everything set up right before next season.

3 points off the P.O's at the mo with 35 games gone. The P.O.'s would be nice but I badly need to strengthen my squad.

I have the consistency away but blow hot and cold at home, mucho fustrating.

3 games to go and I'm 5 points off play offs.

I think I may be beginning to understand where things were going wrong, certainly at home. I turned up creative freedom on my 3 attacking midfielders and one of the strikers (the one who plays the link man). Home performance is a lot better now. I've kept it the same away for now, but ultimately I'm going to create 2 or 3 tactics for different scenarios.

My real problem is that I don't draw games. I can grind out results, especially away but I still either win or lose. I've only drawn 9 games all season.

Righty.......

So I am play-off contenders, and my next match is at home to Yeovil who are all but relegated. I lose 1-0.

Thinking that something ain't right I close the game without saving and so I play Yeovil again to try to figure it out, only this time I turn the attacking stats much higher and I get this:

So for now I am going by the theory that I have been too cautious at home, especially against the lower teams.

What's next is to figure out the better teams, should I still go gung-ho?

Weird

That's happened to me a few times, even weirder is when you bring on a sub and they are normal.

Of course not, that'd be silly.

How many injuries?:
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v490/jamiethon/injury.jpg

And yeah I do have the updated patch.

3 games left and 3 points adrift of the playoffs, I a now relying on some yoof's to do a job for me. Looks like I might miss out on promotion in my first season.

Yeah I know mate, I should be ashamed of myself.

Anyways, I do like the scouts a tad more than 2008. I have some goodun's lined up for next season and on the cheap as well.
