Apologies if this has been mentioned in another thread and I've missed this, but I just read this at the end of BBC Sports gossip column: Swindon boss Maurice Malpas has asked a sports hypnotherapist to aid his side, who are currently struggling in the bottom half of League One. (Daily Star) http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/gossip_and_transfers/7683399.stmCan't say I feel strongly about this one way or another, if it is true.

Really? I had no idea. If so then yeah, looks like it might've been a worthwhile venture.

Whether it works or not, certainly no harm in trying.

It would be if they were hypnotised to start crowing like cockerels at the sound of a whistle.

Put in into the goal, put it into the goal, not around the goal but in the goal, put it into the goal.

Good move. I suspect it's probably an NLP practitioner though, they often get wrongly called hypnotherapists. Bristol shitty have had an NLP practitioner for a while, unbeknownst to most, a man called Mark Layder. Marvin Eliot claimed it's why he's now a better player. Did anyone realise that's also what Paul McKenna now does, retrained as an NLP psych, puts phd after his name and earns fuck loads teaching people about how they think. I'm a closet NLP and mindset book lover. It's an amazing subject i'll have you know.
